Ingredients
I love the Hot Lime Fizz because it turns a simple ginger‑ale spritz into a full‑blown flavour roller‑coaster—no booze required. First, you rim the glass with a cheeky chilli‑salt mix, so every sip starts with a tingling pop. Then muddle fresh lime and mint to unleash their cooling, mojito‑style vibes. The real twist is a spoon of my Hot Lime Pickle Sauce, which drops citrusy heat and a hint of pickle funk right into the party. Top with ice and fizzy ginger ale, give it a swirl, and boom: a sparkling, sweet‑and‑spicy refresher that feels like an “adult” soft drink without the hangover risk.
Step 1
Mix the chilli powder & salt in a bowl. Reduce the kashmiri red chili powder to 1/4 teaspoon if you want to make it less spicy.
Step 2
Cut the lime into wedges. Take wedge and run it around the glass rim.
Step 3
Dip the rim of the glass into the chilli powder and salt mixture prepared earlier.
Step 4
Add 2 to 3 wedges of lime and 5 to 6 mint leaves in the glass. Using a muddler (or use a wooden spoon), muddle the lime and mint leaves to release their juices.
Step 5
Add our Hot Lime Pickle Sauce to the mix and give it all a good stir
Step 6
Add the ice cubes to the class and pour in the ginger ale
Step 7
Give it all another stir and top with more mint leaves
Step 8
